Backwards compatibility update coming to Xbox One early November

Xbox One owners will soon be able to play at least some of their back catalogue of Xbox 360 games this November.

While those who signed up to the preview programme will have tried out Backward Compatibility already, the full official update will arrive on 12th November as part of the Xbox One experience update.  The update will allow gamers to play any compatible game they have in their digital library or on disc.

The update also brings a new look UI to bring it in line with Windows 10.  Those testing it have been coping with bugs and compatibility issues, but these are being ironed out before the official release.

Microsoft have previously said that around 100 Xbox 360 titles will be available when the backward compatibility system officially launches and they’ve just announced that fan favourite Burnout Paradise will be one of those titles.
