After hitting the 1 Million mark in Japan, the Nintendo app, Miitomo, is heading for the UK and US this week.
Thursday sees the launch of the iOS and Android app which will be the first major app store launch for the company and shows a new interest in mobile technology ahead of Nintendo’s new console launch, believed to be at the end of this year.
What is Miitomo?  It’s a social media style communications app which lets you connect your Mii and take part in various activities.  Expect to see this connect to new game titles in the future and have a closer tie to the new console, codenamed the NX by next year.
