Activision have confirmed that around 112GB of free hard-drive space is required for the initial download of the game and required Day 1 patch for its forthcoming Black Ops 4.
The game and patch will eventually use around 55GB but the install will require the extra space beforehand. “For an optimized download experience, players should have 112 GB of free hard drive space – note that this is not the size of the download, it is the amount of space required to complete the installation process. The final installation footprint will be approximately 55 GB.”
Black Ops 4 contains a new Battle Royale mode, Blackout, which was demoed in the last Beta and has received a generally favourable response, as well as a much bigger Zombies mode than previous games.
The game is due to be released on Thursday 11th October for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
