Activison have now officially announced that the next Call of Duty game will be World War II.
The announcement took the form of a Twitter post with a date for the full reveal, next Wednesday 26th April, 10AM PDT, which is 6pm BST.
Given the success of EA’s Battlefield returning to a more basic time with its World War I setting, it seems Activision have realised what fans want and are revisiting World War II in their next game.
