Capcom are delisting the remake of the classic Disney game Ducktales as of this evening, so if you’ve ever wanted to play it, now is the time to grab it while the game is on sale.
DuckTales: Remastered is a remake and remastering of the original Disney DuckTales game, which hit the NES way back in 1989, it’s a favourite among fans of classic games and the remaster is currently 75% off or more on Steam, Xbox 360 (backward compatible on Xbox One) and Wii U digital stores. The PS3 version is available but not discounted.
If you buy the digital version then you’ll still be able to re-download it after today but the game will be unavailable to buy for anyone who hasn’t already purchased it.
Companies have previously let other licences slip which resulted in similar actions for their Spider-man, Deadpool and X-men games, among others. Some return if the cost of re-licencing is worth the effort of reinstating the game but others are gone for good, relying on physical media to allow for those wanting to replay the games.
