Marvel and Square Enix have both made a surprise announcements via Twitter that they are working on a new Avengers game.
The game, currently known as The Avengers Project, is shown in the trailer below, but besides this and a general Press Release, not much else is known about this mystery project, due in 2018.
Marvel’s Press Release reads “The Avengers project is being designed for gamers worldwide and will be packed with all the characters, environments, and iconic moments that have thrilled longtime fans of the franchise,”
Could it be a new free-to-play game like DC Universe or a self contained title? Check out the trailer for a glimpse but don’t expect anything to be given away just yet.
