The rumours were true! Â Nintendo have revealed the first look at their new hardware, the Nintendo Switch, previously codenamed NX.
The console can slot into a frame to create a home console on a TV or be pulled out with a simple click to form a new handheld.
Games come in the form of cartridges, just like the Nintendo 3DS, and the controllers on each side are removable and can be used separately or clicked together.
The video also showed the device being used as an in-car entertainment system and also at home with what looks like a standard Wii U Pro controller.
There’s also multiplayer with several screens, both online and placed next to each other. Â In short, it’s pure Nintendo magic.
