Nintendo Switch gets Splatoon 2 demo in March

Nintendo’s sequel to their Wii U online shooter, Splatoon 2, will be available as a free demo on Switch in March, according to MCV.

There is no set release date for the full game, save for Nintendo positioning it somewhere during Summer 2017, but the first ‘Global Testfire’ for the game has been announced as taking place between March 24th and March 26th.

This mirrors the original game’s Global Testfire events before launch, giving potential players a chance to try the ink-based multiplayer shooter with 4 different weapons during the six scheduled sessions, lasting an hour each.
