Nvidia’s SHIELD TV Pro, an advanced gaming and video streamer, delivers 4K HDR streaming, amazing games and AI home capabilities – and adds an internal 500GB HD.
The new SHIELD Pro maintains the original SHIELD’s design but adds a 500GB hard drive and a new controller. Launching alongside the slimmer Shield 2017 model, the Pro maintains the original SHIELD’s memory card slot.
SHIELD Pro’s 500 GB hard drive is perfect for the built-in Plex Media Server, letting you access your media from any device and easily share it with friends and family. It’s the best solution for the most demanding power users.
The device comes bundled with the new SHIELD controller – for ambient listening when Google Assistant is available (coming soon) – and SHIELD remote (with rechargeable battery and headset jack) at a price tag of £279.99.
SHIELD Pro can be purchased from the SHIELD Store, Amazon UK, Currys PC World, Ebuyer and Scan Computers. Two new games are also being added to the GeForce NOW membership library: Just Cause 2 – available now, and Deus Ex Human Revolution, available next week.
The original Shield device has recently received an OTA update to provide it with the new Amazon Video 4K and 4K HDR gaming services.
