Sony have clarified that the 4 games available in the PS4 Darth Vader bundle would be made available as a separate download.
SNES classic Super Star Wars and the 3 PS2 games;Â Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter and Star Wars Bounty Hunter are all included in the console bundle.
Sony US Blog representitive, Sid Shuman, replied to a question asking whether the games would be made available to those who did not purchase the PS4 console bundle, “Yes – you’ll be able to buy the four games separately on PS Store. They’ll have Trophy support, too!”
It’s not clear if these form some sort of overall PS2 emulation to rival Xbox One’s 360 emulation or if the games are re-coded on PS4 but it sounds as if it will be the latter. Â However, it may leave the door open for other PS2 games to be released, alongside titles from older console generations.
