Star Wars Outlaws gets it’s second chance on Switch 2

Ubisoft’s part stealth, part action Star Wars game had mixed reviews at launch, but the Switch 2 is a change for the game to be reapraised.

The stealth elements and some of the design choices in Outlaws possibly played their part in getting this new Star Wars game off to a shaky start when it launched on PC and other consoles back in August last year, but just over a year on, the Switch 2 version has shown what the development team behind the game can do in terms of both getting this running well on the latest Switch hardware and fixing some of the issues that players had been complaining about, particularly in regard to the stealth controls that made up so much of the game’s missions.

The game is selling at the full retail price on the Switch 2 eshop and is available physically, albeit with a Game Key Card option, but it may well be much more of a success this time around and even encourage users on other platforms to take a second look.
