Steam game sales reached over $3.5bn over the last year, according to analytics site SteamSpy.
Grand Theft Auto V and Fallout 4 hit the top spots for revenue and sales made on Valve’s service, unsurprisingly, given their hype (and the fact that both are great).
It’s also nice to see some of the smaller titles like Rocket League and The Escapists up there in the top 20 as well, showing how diverse the PC platform is for gaming.
Other worthy games of note were ARK: Survival Evolved, which is still in Early Access at the moment and fan favourite Elite: Dangerous, also released on Xbox recently.
It’s certainly clear that the PC as a games platform is going from strength to strength at the moment, possibly bolstered by its strong showing against the current generation console hardware.
