Octodad will be wrapping its tentacles around the Xbox OneĀ on 26th August.
Young Horses, the developer of the indie hit Octodad: Dadliest Catch, has just released the date for the Xbox One version of the game on its blog.
The message reads “Today weāre pleased to say youāll be able to get your hands on the premier fatherhood simulator on Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft via the ID@Xbox self-publishing program as a digital title next week. On August 26th for $14.99 youāll be able to get Octodad: Dadliest Catch on Xbox One including all of the āShortsā DLC included from the start. Weāre also looking into possible alternate control schemes unique to Xbox One that weāll talk about at a later date.”
Octodad previously premiered on PC, followed by a timed console exclusive release on PS4. Ā Both versions featured unusual control schemes which tasked you with trying to control the fishy dad through various human tasks, all while keeping up his disguise.
