Xbox One price slashed by several retailers

Making way for new stock isn’t unusual, but if you’re in the market for a new Xbox One then it may be very good news.

Amazon have just dropped the price of the Xbox One with FIFA bundle to £208.99 for Prime members, the lowest that the console has seen at retail.

The new Xbox One S, announced at E3 on Monday during Xbox’s Press Conference, will take the old console’s place in August, though original consoles are presumably still in supply and it’s uncertain whether they’ll stop producing the fatter Xbox One any time soon.  But Amazon seem to think enough interest has been made from the announcement of the slimmer console to affect sales of the original.

Other retailers like GAME and Shopto.net have reduced some of the Xbox One bundles to £229.99, so there are plenty of bargains to be had wherever you shop.

The Xbox One S has a 4K Bluray player and 4K video support, but other than this it is a direct replacement for the standard console.
