Pack Overviews

Starter Pack

This comes with Lego Batman, Wyldstyle and Gandalf figures, a portal, disc and Batmobile vehicle.

Unlocks: Main game, Batman, Lord of the Rings and Lego Movie hubs , main hub with hub worlds for each franchise (requires character from franchise to enter).

Level Packs

Back to the Future – Contains: Marty McFly, Delorean and Hoverboard

Recounting the trilogy (very quickly). It’s a good story but beware of spoilers for those who have not seen the movies.

The Simpsons – Contains: Homer, Family car, TV set.

An interesting original story featuring Homer which ties into the main theme.

Portal 2 – Contains: Chell, Companion Cube, Sentry

Probably the best of the level packs in terms of gameplay. Just like an easier version of the Portal games with the original voice actors.

Doctor Who – Contains: 12th Doctor, Tardis and K9

The Doctor arrives on Earth in the future where the Daleks have taken over.

Ghostbusters – Contains: Dr Peter Venkman, Ecto 1 vehicle, Ghost Trap

Replay the original Ghostbusters movie as the Ghostbusters themselves. Great fun for fans of the series and a good end boss, too.

Midway Arcade – Contains: Gamer Kid, Spy Hunter Vehicle, Defender Arcade Machine

Gamer Kid finds odd goings on in an old Arcade: Cue plenty of classic gaming action both in original form and Lego versions.

Team Packs

These contain 2 figures and a mix of vehicles and items. DC Comics pack is definitely the star here, though.

Jurrassic World – Contains: Owen, AC Trooper, Gyrosphere vehicle

Scooby Doo – Contains: Scooby, Shaggy, Scooby Snack and Mystery Machine vehicle

Ninjago – Contains: Kai, Cole, Blade Bike Vehicle and Boulder Bomber

DC Comics – Contains: Joker, Harley Quinn, Joker’s Chopper and Quinn Mobile Car vehicles.

These will arrive from September and throughout 2017. They will not need a separate disc or portal.

Battle Arenas
All-new Battle Arenas will offer competitive split-screen local gameplay for up to four players. LEGO minifigures included in the wave 6 through 9 expansion packs will come with special, golden Toy Tags which unlock a Battle Arena within the Free Play Adventure World of the corresponding entertainment brand.

Each Battle Arena has four different gameplay modes and comes with its own traps, special powers and interactive environments that make every battle arena unique.

Ghostbusters 2016

The Ghostbusters Story Pack, based on the upcoming film, will provide a complete movie-based gameplay experience with six puzzle-packed levels and new LEGO Gateway bricks that allow players to build Zhu’s Chinese Restaurant atop the LEGO Toy Pad.

It will also come with a buildable Abby Yates LEGO minifigure with Proton Blaster and 3-in-1 buildable Ecto-1 which can be rebuilt into the Ectozer and The PerfEcto. The pack unlocks “Rip,” a new Toy Pad mode allowing players to tear open an alternate universe.

In this mirror world, players have the ability to solve puzzles and affect objects and other items in the primary universe. And like all gold-tag minifigures purchased, Abby Yates provides access to a new themed Adventure World with its own unique Battle Arena.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Based on the highly anticipated theatrical release, still to come later this year. The LEGO DIMENSIONS packs will be the exclusive construction toy offering this holiday for the exciting expansion of J.K Rowling’s Wizarding World.

Story Packs
These also expand the Starter Pack story with deeper gameplay. In the game’s storyline, the evil Lord Vortech has hidden portions of his powers around the LEGO Multiverse. As players progress through Story Pack levels, they can unearth and tap into Keystone Runes to use Lord Vortech’s powers against him through all-new Toy Pad modes.
