Avalanche have launched the official minimum and recommended specs for PC gamers who want to play Just Cause 3 after they originally leaked online.
According to the Steam page for the game, the specs you’ll need to run Just Cause 3 are:
Minimum Specifications:
- OS: Vista SP2, Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1 (64-bit Operating System Required)
- CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K, 3.3 Ghz | AMD Phenom II X6 1075T 3 Ghz
- Memory: 6GB
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 (2GB) | AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2GB)
Recommended Specifications:
- OS: Vista SP2, Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1 (64-bit Operating System Required)
- CPU: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz | AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz
- Memory: 8GB
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (3GB) | AMD R9 290 (4GB)
The trend for over 4GB minimum continues, though we’d be surprised if the game didn’t run fairly well if you only have 4GB RAM in your system, we’ve seen many examples where games ran well below the minimum specs when making a few sacrifices with visual quality.
That said, the physics engine for this latest Just Cause should mean that your CPU will get a bit of a workout this time around.
So, what do you think of the specs for Avalanche’s new game? Â Is your rig up to the task?
