EA are partnering with Illumination Entertainment and Universal to bring those yellow Minions to mobile, alongside other Illumination movie characters.
The deal will provide EA with material for forthcoming mobile titles, the first being Minions Paradise, which stars a brand new Minion, Phil, alongside a host of familiar faces.
The EA press release reads “Join the Minions on a vacation of a lifetime! Meet Phil, the lovable, new Minion, and journey with him to create the ultimate Minions Paradise!” which sounds to me like another town builder in the style of Family Guy The Quest for Stuff and The Simpsons, both of which have done pretty well for EA on mobile.
