Square Enix have delayed the release of Final Fantasy XV until November, according to reports.
The game was due for a September release but Gamestop were told at the weekend to replace dates on their promotional material due to go out today, showing the new date as 29th November 2016 instead, confirmed by the site Gamnesia who took a picture of the instructions to change the date.
This was then later confirmed by Hajime Tabata, Director of the game, who apologised for the delay and explained the decision, that the team wanted to provide a substantial ‘day one’ patch on disc for those who couldn’t download it.  You can see his video below.
Final Fantasy XV is due out on PS4 and Xbox One later this year.
