Epic Games have officially announced a huge map update coming to Fortnite Battle Royale today which will add a whole host of new places and features.
The update lands on Thursday, January 18 and will add all new points of interest to the game, such as the city area, “Tilted Towers” and the underground mines, “Shifty Shafts”. Also included are updates to existing areas providing even more variety and distinction between the areas, which means more places to land, more places to loot, and more places to fight.
The Fortnite Battle Royale mode is a 100-player PvP mode that drops players into a giant map, where they’ll use their building and combat skills to be the last one standing.
Fortnite is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC with a free multiplayer mode and various paid for packs providing a single player offline game and new modes.
