Nintendo have announced The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for Wii U in their Nintendo Direct event.
The game was originally a release for both the Gamecube and Wii (originally just slated for their older console but development took place during the release of the Wii) and the remake is being partly handled by developer Tantalus Media.
There will also be a bundle with a new Amiibo character, Wolf Link, created especially for the game and Nintendo have also announced that some data can be carried forward on the Amiibo to the new Zelda game arriving next year on Wii U.
