Another shameless movie tie-in or actually worth buying?
We’ve all seen them, those horrible, crappy games that have absolutely nothing to do with trying to make a decent video game at all. I’m not just talking about ET here. Do you remember Fight Club? Or Catwoman? No, I didn’t think so.
They aren’t all terrible though. Shadow of Mordor is one recent example of a tie-in which is a genuinely brilliant game, and there are lots more to choose from too. So what can we expect from WB Games and their take on Mad Max?
Judging purely on the trailer alone I think it looks like it could be pretty good. I don’t think it will push the boundaries of originality  (it looks like a cross between Destruction Derby and Batman) but as long as the mechanics hold up it certainly has potential.
You are free to make up your own minds of course, but I’m certainly looking forward to finding out more.
