Arizona Sunshine gets an enhanced version for Oculus Quest 2 today

Vertigo Games and Jaywalkers Interactive have announced a newly enhanced version of Arizona Sunshine for Oculus Quest 2 will be available on the Quest Store from today.

Preserving Oculus Quest ecosystem cross-platform multiplayer functionality, the newly enhanced version for Oculus Quest 2 offers even uglier zombies, full zombie ragdoll physics and overall visual enhancements. The update will be available for free to all existing owners of Arizona Sunshine on Oculus Quest and will bring some of these graphical improvements to users on the original Oculus Quest as early as today.

The visual upgrades for Arizona Sunshine on Oculus Quest 2 include:

  • HD zombies with full physics: Even uglier zombies
  • Enriched world: Blood spatter, foliage, birds, destructible glass & environment zombies
  • Real-time sniper scopes
  • Dynamic lighting and shaders (specular and normal maps)
  • Overall visual enhancement*

*Improvement will also be available to players on Oculus Quest 1.

The free enhancement update for Arizona Sunshine is coming to the Oculus Quest platform on October 13, 2020 and includes all of the game’s content released in the Oculus Quest store to date, including all Horde Mode Updates. Both story expansions Dead Man DLC and The Damned DLC have received a free update as well and all content supports cross platform multiplayer within the Oculus Quest ecosystem.
